摘要
基本的区分服务模型没有防止自身过载和告知外部网络自身服务能力的机制.在分析基本区分服务模型接纳控制机制的基础上,提出了一种在加强的区分服务体系结构上的公平的智能接纳控制模型.其中心思想是在内部网络的QoS状态和外部业务QoS要求二者的基础上做出接纳决定.这个模型有以下优点:能够向后兼容区分服务;能够适应业务负载和网络QoS状态的变化;在外部的QoS要求和内部的区分服务网络之间提供交互通信.该模型的目的在于能够公平地接入业务和在重负载以及网络状态发生变化时实现端到端的QoS.
The basic DiffServ model lacks mechanisms to prevent itself from being overloaded and to inform the external world of its proper internal service capability. Based on the analysis of the mechanism of the admission control for basic DiffServ model, a fair intelligent admission control model was presented for enhance the DiffServ architecture. Its main idea is to make an admission decision on the basis of the condition of internal network QoS and the requirement of external traffic QoS. This model has several advantages: being backward compatible with DiffServ, adaptable to the change of traffic load and network QoS condition and able to provide interactive communication between the external QoS requirements and the internal DiffServ network capability. The goal of this model is to be able to admit traffic fairly and achieve edge-to-edge QoS under heavy traffic conditions and network state changes.
