教材在教学中处于十分重要的位置,在很大程度上影响着教学模式。因此在教学模式发生改变的情况下,教材的设计也应发生变化。无论在理论还是在实践上,多媒体教学都已经成为未来大学英语教学发展的趋势,因此,传统的教学配套设施都要做相应的调整。由于教材在教学中占重要的地位,对其改革就成为大学英语教学改革的首要任务。

Textbook plays a very important role in teaching, influences the teaching model to a large degree. Therefore, under the situation of teaching model change, the design of textbook should change. Whether on theory or in practice,multi-media teaching has become the development trend of future college English teaching, under which traditional teaching facilities should be adjusted accordingly. Textbook, due to its importance in teaching, should be reformed as the first task of college English teaching reform.
