The 8th National Violin Performance Competition, under the auspices of Chinese Cultural Ministry and sponsored and organized by Qingdao Municipality, took place in the city of Qingdao from September 17 to 26. 87 contestants from a dozen of prestigious music conservatories from across the country competed in the nal round, presenting high-level art galas to this beautiful seaside city.
