The problems originally existing in the DCS control system of Meishan Steel＇s No .2 preheating furnace are analyzed. So, this plant introduces new methods of forcing key signals. These methods not only make it easy to monitor and analyze the signals, but also simplify operating procedures. Moreover, shutdown time is shortened obviously.
