清末陕西留日学生考略

A Study into Shaanxi Students in Japan at the End of the Qing Dynasty

清末,在出国留学日本热潮的推动和影响下,陕西留日学生日渐增多。有的论者认为清末陕西留日学生的有五、六十人之多,有的论者却认为有七八十人之多。现据有关可靠的史料考证,已经超过一百一十人之多。他们在民族危机日益加深和阶级矛盾逐渐激化的形势下,迅速走上资产阶级民主革命道路,敲响了埋葬清王朝封建统治的丧钟。

At the end of the Qing Dynasty,increasing number of Shaanxi studints went to study in Japan. Some scholars assume there were as many as fifty to sixty, while some others seventy to eighty. According to the credible historical data,the number has been proved more than one hundred and ten. In the situation of aggravating national crises and intensifying class contradictions,they tolled the funeral bell for the Qing Dynasty by quickly pursuing the road to bourgeois democratic revolution.
