摘要
由苏州市教育科学研究院和苏州市高新区实验小学等8所小学合作开展的双语教育整体改革实验,经过6年的探索,使小学毕业生具备初中毕业生的英语口语交流能力的同时,综合素质也得到全面提高,取得了预期成效。参与实验的校长、教师和科研人员在学校管理、教育教学和科研等方面的能力和水平得到提升。实验取得成功是在确立全面提高学生的整体素质的实验目标,培养学习型的科研队伍,探索科学有效的英语教学模式,构建理论与实践相结合的科研机制等方面采取了一系列有效措施。
After 6 years' exploration, the overall reform experiment of bilingual teaching collaborated by Suzhou Educational Institute and eight primary schools including Suzhou High Tech Zone Primary School, has achieved desired results. The primary school graduates have possessed English spoken ability of junior middle school graduates and meanwhile gained overall improvement in the comprehensive quality. The principals, teachers and researchers who are involved in this experiment upgraded their ability in school management, teaching and research. The success of the experiment lies in that series of effective measures have been taken to determine the experimental objective of improving the students' overall quality, cultivate learning-oriented research team, explore scientific and effective English learning teaching model and construct the scientific research mechanism with combination of theory and practice, which has brought us reflections on how to further deepen the experiment.
