重叠块运动补偿在小波视频编码中的应用

摘要 在基于小波变换的混和视频编码方案中,为了消除传统块运动补偿带来的块效应,采用了重叠块运动补偿的方法,比较了不同的重叠窗对于重叠块运动补偿后编码效率的影响。实验表明,相对传统的块运动补偿,重叠块运动补偿有效的去除块效应,提高了小波视频编码的编码效率。参与比较的3种重叠窗中,升余弦窗在不同块大小情况下表现出一致的最优性能。 In a proposed hybrid video coding scheme based on DWT, overlapped block motion compensation (OBMC) is adopted to reduce blocking artifacts by traditional block motion compensation. Different windows used in OBMC are compared. The experiment results suggest that OBMC improve the coding efficiency of wavelet video coding. Among the three windows used in the experiment, the raised cosine window shows the most improvement in cases using different block size motion compensation.
