摘要
The 8^th International Lunar Exploration Working Group （ILEWG） Conference on Exploration and Utilization of the Moon, sponsored jointly by China National Space Administration （CNSA） and ILEWG, was held in Beijing, China on July 23-27, 2006. Over 200 participants were scientists, experts and officials from the institutes, industries and space agencies of China, America, Russia, Japan, India, Italy, Ukraine, Pakistan, Austria, Netherlands, UK and Canada. Dr. Sun Laiyan, Administrator of CNSA, and Mr. Narendra Bhandari, President of ILEWG, addressed the opening. Dr. Sun Laiyan and the representatives from NASA, JAXA, Italian Space Agency and Indian Space Research Organization also delivered keynote speeches on national lunar exploration plans at the opening ceremony.
