８０年代以来，中国铀工业调整的首要任务是缩减铀的产量，以适应市场经济的需要。目前中国铀工业面临加速发展的新机遇。中国核电在今后２０～３０年中将加速增长。１９９５年起，世界铀市场一直好转，许多分析家认为世界铀的供应将持续趋紧。中国铀工业的改革成效、技术进步和多种经营的发展提高了铀业的生产效率和竞争能力。
In the 1980s, the first place adjustment of China uranium industry was to cut back uranium production to fit in with the requirements of market economy. Now China uranium industry is facing a new opportunity for rapid .development. The increase of nuclear power in China will speed up in the coming 2～3 decades. Since 1995,the world uranium market has been improved and many analysts agree that world uranium supply will continue to tighten.The reformation achievement,technical progress and development of diversified economy in China uranium industry have raised efficiency and competitive ability of uranium production.
