The classification of discipline in medical education abroad and its implications

本文介绍了国外医学门类学科专业设置概况,进行了基础医学、临床医学、口腔医学、公共卫生与预防医学、药学等医学门类一级学科专业设置的中外比较,在此基础上,提出了对我国医学门类学科专业目录调整和医学研究生学位授予类型的设想和建议。

In this paper, we investigated the classification of discipline in medical education abroad. Comparative study between China and the other countries was done on the classification of discipline in basic medicine, clinical medicine, dental medicine, preventive medicine and pharmacy. In order to accommodate to the development of medical science and the need of cultivation of graduates, we should gradually modify the classification of discipline and the degree type conferred in medical graduate education.
