In his position of the chief editor of Shi Kan, Zang Kejia exhibited the subject character and the social role of the trinity of the participation in government, academia and literature or that of an official, editor and poet. The present paper strings together miscellaneous deeply-meant sublime words and brings forth the fact that Zang, "incorporated" by the literary power and existing in the gap of shackles, did not enjoy his share of the power of decision. He was in a crisis of identity identification during his officiation of Shi Kan. Both his provate and public writing and speech were in the shade of power. The meaning of his position as the chiefeditor lies in the manifestation of the positive and the negative effect that a compound subject made to the culture in the resultant resonance of poetry and politics.
