大运量快速交通系统是一种介于地面常规公交与轨道交通之间的交通方式,具有容量大、速度快、造价低和灵活方便的优势。实现由快速交通系统向轨道交通逐步升级的战略需要制定好快速公交和轨道交通发展的一体化衔接规划、对当前的快速公交发展给予强有力的政策支持和运行优先保障。
Mass rapid transit system is a kind of intermediate transit model between bus traffic and rail transport.It has the advantages of big capacity, high speedlow cost and flexibility and convenience, etc..To gradually upgrade from rapid transit system to rail transport,it is necessary to work out the plan for the integration development of the rapid bus transit system and the rail transport system and provide tremendous policy support and priority in operation to the present development of bus rapid transit system.
