博爱的原则长期被人们忽视和冷落。真正的博爱是与自由、平等统一的超越阶级阶层的友爱与合作。博爱精神渗透在新自由主义的理论和政策实践之中,新自由主义把博爱原则用于社会治理,取得了相当的成效,缓解了资本主义社会的问题和阶级矛盾。博爱原则对西方社会的积极作用表明,博爱对解决社会主义市场经济的矛盾和问题同样具有现实力量和重要意义。

The principle of philanthropism has been long overlooked and even spurned. Real philanthropy goes along with freedom, common equality with friendship and mutual collaboration between every class and creed.The spirit of philanthropism filters through the theories and practical policies of neoliberalism. Neoliberalism has utilised the principles of philanthropism in the running of the society. This has produced significant results and resolved some issues of class contradictions within a capitalistic society. Philanthropism’s positive effects on western societies points to the fact that it has a strong ability to solve the economic problems found within a socialist society.
