On the Problems Related to English Listening Ability Facing the Uighur Students and Possible Solutions

Through a comparison of the speech sounds and loss of sounds between the English language and Uighur language , the author analyzes a series of problems facing the Uighur students＇ English listening comprehension, including the first - language interference. The author finally brings up some proposals and measures for the improvement of English listening abilities to the Uighur students.
