追溯了沈阳大学的前身奉天实业学堂的创建过程,认为奉天实业学堂在办学规模、办学宗旨、教师队伍建设和人才培养上,都取得了长足的进步,积累了一定的办学经验,形成了自己的办学特色。这些办学经验和办学特色,对于中国几千年形成的以经学为中心的教育体制而言,无疑是重大的突破和创新,它为辽宁地区的实业教育奠定了最坚固的第一块基石,对辽宁地区实业人才的培养具有重大的开创之功。
