Genetic Diversity of B-hordein in Hulless Barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in China

摘要 报道了青藏高原青稞B组醇溶蛋白的遗传多样性.在66份青藏高原青稞材料中,共有15种不同条带、29种不同条带组合,表明青藏高原青稞材料具有丰富的多态性.不同来源的群体材料间遗传多态性存在差异,西藏育成品种的多态性略低于四川农家品种,人工选择使其遗传多态性减弱.聚类分析将材料分成3组,材料聚类与材料来源地没有明显的相关性. The Qinghai - Tibet Plateau is very rich in hulless barley ( naked barley, Hordeum vulgare L. ) resources and has a long history of plantation of the barley. However, the information of its genetic diversity is very limited. This study analyzed the genetic diversity of B-hordeins in 66 hulless barley cultivars from the Qinghai - Tibet Plateau. A total of 15 different bands and 29 distinct patterns were found. Jaccard's coefficient of similarity was calculated, and the accessions were divided into three main groups by cluster analysis using UPGMA. Differences among the populations from different regions was investigated based on the polymorphism of B-hordein. The genetic diversity of the developed cultivars from Tibet was slightly lower with an average diversity index of 0.27 than that of the varieties from Sichuan(0.28), which was possibly resulted from human selection. This study indicates that the hulless barley from the Qinghai -Tibet Plateau is an important pool of variability for B-hordeins that could be used in cereal breeding.
