很多基于研发投入的内生增长模型都隐含着规模效应,即研发投入的稳定增长会带来经济增长率的提升,然而过去二十多年中,人均收入持续增长,经济增长率却保持稳定甚至略有下降。R&D驱动的内生增长模型有助于解释这样的经济现象,这一模型解释了为何研发投入的稳定增长没有像其他模型一样导致任何经济增长率的提升。

This paper presents a simple R＆D - driven endogenous growth model to shed .light on some economic trends. Income percapita has been growing for the past two decades. The growth rate is constant and a little declining. At the same time, the R＆D input has been growing too. The model illuminates why steady increasing R＆D effort has not led to any upward trend in economic growth rates.
