摘要
图书馆的服务能力与社会声誉是成正比关系的,而提高馆员的素质是提高服务能力的关键。图书馆馆员的素质的提高,有利于社会声誉的提升,形象地说便是“U”型管效应。要增强图书馆的服务能力、提升其社会声誉,可以从加强“读者第一”的观念、增强服务意识;提高馆员文化层次,拓宽知识面;培养信息意识、掌握现代技术;提高创新能力、树立科学发展观等方面入手,从而使图书馆事业更旺盛。
Library service ability and its social reputation are of proportional relation, which makes it vital to improve the librarian's service ability. Tiffs will do good to improve the library's reputation and can be described as "Utype effect". We can improve librarian's service ability by emphasizing "user-oriented" principle, widening the librarian's knowledge scope and helping them grasp new technologies as well as cultivating their innovation ability. All of these efforts will make the library more popular.
