烤烟新品种─吉烟五号的选育

A Breeding Report on a New Variety of Flue-Culed Tobacco-Jiyan-5

吉烟五号是由吉林省延边农科院烟草研究所于１９８８年以净叶黄为母本，Ｃｏｋｅｒ８６为父本杂交，采用系谱法选育而成．该品种烤后原烟颜色里金黄色，油价多，光泽较强，厚度适中；还原糖２２．８９％，尼古丁２．２１％，糖碱比１０．４；卷烟评吸香气量足，香气质好，具有中偏清香型风格；产量较高、适应性广，抗赤星病和普通花叶病，耐肥、耐旱．其综合性状超过目前北方烟区主栽品种ＮＣ８９．１９９６年２月通过全国烟草品种审定会审定，适宜在东北烟区种植．

Using pedigree technique, a new hybrid variety named Jiyan -5 has been bred in 1988,crossing female parent JINGYEHUANG with male parent Coker 86.The bright and lustrous crued leaf is orange-coloured, rich in butter, moderate thick, pleasing and heavily fragrant, with reducing sugar 22.89%,nicotine 2.21%,sugar-alkai rate 10.4, and delicate fragrance style is moderate. The yield of Jiyan-5 is high, it is widely adaptable, resistant to Brown spot and Mosaic, and tolerant to fertilizer and drought.Comprehensive characters of Jiyan-5 are better than those of NC89 the main variety cultivated in the northen areas, In February 1996, it was examined and approved by the National Tobacco Variety Examine and Approve Committee, suitable to be cultivated in the northen areas.
