In modem times, the Southeast of Guangxi area became an important chart nel which the domestic and foreign opium transit because of its geographical position rel -ations. The origin ways inputting opium into Southeast of Guangxi were complex. The discussion about the ways and reasons that opium entered southeast of Guangxi, is advan -tageous for people to know the society in Southeast of Guangxi in modem times from another side. and it is an organic constituent of,studies on the modern Guangxi history.
