口腔矫治器治疗OSAS的临床疗效

Observation on the Effect of Dental Appliances on OSAS

目的评价口腔矫治器治疗阻塞性睡眠呼吸暂停综合征(obstructive sleep apnea syndrome,OSAS)的疗效。方法12例经口腔矫治器治疗的OSAS患者,将治疗前后多导睡眠监测所得的呼吸功能改变与治疗前X线头影测量值进行相关分析。结果OSAS患者呼吸紊乱指数,呼吸暂停指数,低通气指数和血氧饱和度使用前后有显著性改善。而X线头影测量得出下颌骨位置也有所改善。结论矫治器是治疗OSAS的一种有效方法。

Objective To evaluate the effect of a dental appliance on obstructive sleep apnea syndrome （OSAS） patients. Methods 12 patients with OSAS wore dental appliance designed by authors. The patients had polysomnography and cephalometry before and after the treatment. Results As to apnea hypopnea index （AHI）, apnea index （AI）, hypopnea index（HI） and oxygen saturation, there were statistically significant improvements. In addition, the position of mandibula also had improvement. Conclusion The dental appliance designed gave an effective result in treating OSAS.
