Waiting for Godot: Waiting and Drifting

However, in Waiting for Godot, those who are waiting and drifting cannot see the hope of salvation. Metaphorically, the time of the play stretches to the past and the future, and the space implies the existence of heaven and hell, hence people＇s waiting and drifting is endless and hopeless.
