摘要
等待与漂泊是文学传统中以救赎为中心的古老母题,在《圣经》中,救赎最终表现为重返乐园。《等待戈多》围绕着这两种行为展开,但人物行为的隐喻性却突破了舞台时空的限制,舞台上的时间连接着过去未来,空间隐约指向天堂地狱,等待和漂泊无休无止,人们却离最初的乐园越来越远,看不到救赎的希望。
Waiting and drifting are literary motifs centering on salvation and the Bible defines salvation as the returning to Paradise. However, in Waiting for Godot, those who are waiting and drifting cannot see the hope of salvation. Metaphorically, the time of the play stretches to the past and the future, and the space implies the existence of heaven and hell, hence people's waiting and drifting is endless and hopeless.
