Gate of Pingyao

门是人类居住地的象征,是生活空间的中转站。平遥,这座迄今保存最完好的明清古城,拥有着从"城门"到"房门"的各式各样的门。这些门既是平遥古城明清建筑文化的组成部分,又是华夏门文化的缩影。从这些门的位置、形制、装饰,可以读出古人在封建礼制禁锢下的生命力和创造力。
