The Research of the Reasons Why Korean Banks Enter Chinese Market and the Relevant Risks

近年来,很多外国银行开始进入中国市场,韩国银行更是其中的佼佼者,本文通过回顾韩国银行进入中国市场的历史情况,从支持在华韩国中小企业发展的需要,中国政府放松对外国银行进入的管制,以及中国日渐成熟的消费金融市场来分析其原因,最后指出在华韩国银行经营过程中可能遇到的风险,并提出相关对策。

In the recent years, many foreign banks, especially the Korean banks, conte to China. Based on reviewing the history about Korean banks entering Chinese market, the author analyzes its reasons from the aspects as follows： supporting the development of small to medium Korean companies in China; loosening the entrance control on the foreign banks; maturing of the Chinese consuming banking market. At last, some risks which Korean banks in China may experience in their business will be pointed, and some countermeasures and suggestions will be given.
