摘要
大众文化消费产品即影视、媒体、广告等领域的文化产品。在复杂的全球化语境中,此类产品的翻译引入对于当代中国的社会变革有着不可估量的影响。由于此类产品自身的特点,其翻译引进有鲜明的目的性。但是,目的性不能成为遮盖一切的幕布,译者的社会责任和职业良知始终应该是高于现实目的的标杆。
Popular cultural products are cultural products such as commercials, media reports, and audio-visual products. In the context of globalization, translating efforts concerning the popular cultural products of Western origin exert remarkable influences on the ongoing social changes in contemporary China. Though the translation and introduction of these products are purpose-bound, the translator must not put practical purpose before his or her social responsibilities and professional conscience.
