Commentary of the Chinese Root-finding Literature Research

寻根文学从20世纪80年代中期在中国大陆产生之后,它就一直成为中国的文学家和批评家关注的焦点之一。中国寻根文学虽然形成了丰富多样、神奇瑰丽的民族文学特征,但由于民族文化策略的方向性定位的模糊和不具体,在具体内容表现上整体性和深度性挖掘不够,同时又缺乏持之以恒的毅力和将文化寻根进行到底的信心,终究难以形成整体的势力。

After coming into being in mainland of China in 1980＇s, Root -finding literature has drawn the attention of many Chinese writers and critics. Though this literature form has formed the national literature character of being colorful, miraculous and magnificent, owing to the fuzzy and obscure directive localization of the national culture strategy , it lacks sufficient excavation in integrity and depth in concrete content performance. Simultaneously it is short of the perseverance and confidence which inquires to carry the root- finding literature through to the end, it＇s still difficult to form the overall power.
