隔音符号用途异议

Different Opinion Over the Function of Syllable-dividing Mark in Chinese

声调是汉语音节必不可少的要素,但是汉语拼音方案及通行汉语教材在谈及隔音符号的用途时,却无视声调,因而在书面上省去音节的声调符号,使得关于隔音符号用途的讨论失去应有的意义。

Intonation plays an important role in Chinese syllable, but is totally discredited in Chinese spelling and Chinese textbook. In this condition, discussion over the function of syllable-dividing mark in Chinese would not be able to fully uncover its considerable significance.
