摘要

The viewpoint that the education is useless is well explained in Why Education Is Useless written in 2003 by Daniel Cottom. However, Cottom don't simply think the education is unuseful. According to the Cottom's thought, the education that is over-utilitarianized, over-institutionized, over-idealized is of no use. In his idea, the inefficacy-got rid off usefulness of Utilitarianism-is the source of all educational value. To realize the inefficacy that Cottom suggested, the education should have a little independence, intrinsic aim and inspiritment.
