新形势下对FTTH系统的功能要求及设想

Function Requirements and Assumption to the FTTH System Under the New Situation

基于PON(无源光网络)技术的FTTH(光纤到户)系统基本成熟,国内也逐步开始大规模的使用,但应用的模式相对于传统的接入方式并未有特殊的改变。面对运营商转型、网络技术融合的趋势以及目前互联网运营的困境,本文指出FTTH系统应不只是提供大带宽的二层接入,必须提供能够解决以上问题的思路及功能,基于理论上的完备模型,光纤宽带的目标还远远未能达到。

FTTH system, such as EPON, comes to be mature, and will be used in large scale in the country. But its usage does not appear different, comparing with the traditional method. With the carrier transforming, network technology converging, and under the embarrassment while carrying the network, FTTH system should not only provide the broadband access in the link layer, but also the solutions and corresponding functions. According the complete model in theory, broadband on fiber still have a long way to the end.
