The article summarizes systematic energy optimization technology and tools used in domestic refining and petrochemical enterprises, including energy consumption calculation and evaluation, comprehensive optimization and utilization of energy resources, heat integration method, energy balance and energy use analysis, steam-power system optimization, low-temperature waste heat recovery and utilization as well as varieties of computer software. It also analyzes existing shortcomings and puts forward suggestions for future development.
