自旋三重态对半磁半导体Cd_(1-x)Fe_xTe和Cd_(1-x)Fe_xSe的基态精细结构分裂的影响

摘要 本文在强场图象下推导了3d4/3d6离子在三角晶场中包括自旋-轨道相互作用的哈密顿矩阵公式.采用双SO轨道模型计算了Fe2+离子在Ⅱ-Ⅵ半磁半导体CdTe和CdSe中的基态精细结构分裂(FSS).理论计算的FSS和实验结果符合很好. In this paper, the Hamiltonian matrix of 3d 4/3d 6 ion in trigonal symmetry, including the crystal field and the spin orbit interactions, has been derived. The fine structure splittings(FSS) of the ground state of Fe 2+ ions in Ⅱ Ⅵ semimagnetic semiconductors (SMSC) CdTe and CdSe are obtained by a molecular orbital approach. The theoretical FSS are in good agreement with the experiments. The results obtained indicate that spin triplet contribution to FSS of the ground state is very important.
