干椒品种艳椒五号的选育

Breeding of 'Yanjiao No.5'——a Special Chili Variety for Drying

艳椒五号是重庆市农业科学研究所用1997年收集的韩国辣椒杂交种“新红奇”,经过多代分离、定向选育而成的一个干制专用品种。该品种为辛辣型,果形小羊角形,果实硬度好,青椒深绿色,老熟果大红色;一般667m2产红椒1444.6kg;经多点试验和生产示范,适宜在西南以及南方大部分地区种植。

＇Yanjiao No.5＇ is a special chili variety for drying developed from a Korea hybrid by pedigree selection. The immature pods are horn shaped, hard and the mature pods are bright red and suitable for making dry pepper specially. The yield of red fruit is about 1 444.6 kg per 667 m^2. The results of multi-plot trial and production demonstration show that this variety has wide adaptation and can be cultivated in Southwest of China, Yangtze River valley and most parts of South China.
