这种12辊轧机采用了不同于Sendzimir轧机的整体机架和Sundwig的四立柱机架,而类似于传统4、6辊轧机的整体机架。机架内装有可上下移动的上下辊箱,每个辊箱内用芯轴固定安装了两大一小三组背衬轴承。轧机在下辊箱内设有直接作用式板形调节装置。.轧机采用小抛线型直接作用式液压压下装置。这两台轧机均可将厚3~2.75mm的热轧带钢不经中间退火轧制成0.3~0.2mm成品厚度的冷硬带钢。
This kind of 12-hi cold reversing cold rolling mill is different from the mono-block design ( Sendzimir) and 4-column design (Sundwig), like the conventional 4 - Hi and 6-Hi mill housing design, a whole block design integrated with a driving side and an operating side. The main rolling mill consisted of a one-piece housing and two identical vertical mobile roll boxes which contained three groups back-up bearings (two big ones and a small one) fixed to roll boxes by shafts. Another key feature of the 12-Hi rolling mill was the adoption of the direct-acting hydraulic roll-crown adjustment device applying the pressure to the shafts instead of the conventional AS-U devices to ensure the achievement of a better strip flatness. Without intermediate annealing, both of them can reduce the hot strip from an initial 2.75 - 3mm dimension to a final gauge 0.3 -0.2mm cold rolled strip.
