摘要
China formally initiated reforms making the RMB exchange rate more flexible when it returned to the managed floating exchange rate system in 2005. Given the fact that the reform is quite complex and has to be carried out over the long term, we should comprehensively assess possible new problems and develop the corresponding solutions once the reform is under way.
