由于停业、损坏、及维修，2005年墨西哥湾风暴为石油及天然气行业造成了严重损失。当然，风暴是海上作业不可避免的组成部分，但是在本期的《石油天然气》中，我们将介绍一些新的系统、工艺及技术，这些系统、工艺及技术已被海上石油及天然气行业用于准确预测风暴及洋流。
The well-documented storms in the Gulf of Mexico during 2005 cost the oil and gas industry a lot, due to shut downs, damage and repairs. Of course storms are unavoidable part of working offshore, but in this issue of Oil ＆ Gas Technology we take a look at some of the new systems, procedures and technology that have been put in place to help accurately forecast storms and ocean currents.
