The paper introduced the current situation of agricultural mechanization in China, which was inferior to that of developed countries. It also analyzed restrictive factors of agricultural mechanization, expounded its state and tactics of development in future after entrance WTO in China. Agricultural mechanization would be realized; it not only relieved intension of labor, enhanced efficiency of labor but also promoted modern achievements of science and technology to be applied to agricultural field, raised competitive ability of Chinese agriculture in all.
