中国特色社会主义理论是发展的、分阶段的。继邓小平理论、“三个代表”重要思想之后,从党的十六大起,中国特色社会主义理论进入新的发展阶段。这一时期中共中央提出的以科学发展观为代表的一系列重大战略思想和科学判断,是这一阶段的最新理论成果。
