土家人语言中小名“娃”字的变读比较——以湖北巴东土家人为个案研究

A Comparative Study of the Phonetics Change about the Tujia Nickname "娃(Wa)"——A Case Study of Tujia People in Badong,Hubei Province

汉语普通中,有许多音节由于受邻近音节的影响,实际读音往往会发生变化,变化最频繁的当数句末语气词“啊”,它共有六七种不同的变读。这种变读现象,在各民族地区语言中也广泛存在,如湖北巴东土家人小名中的“娃”就是十分典型的一例,而且它与汉语普通语气词“啊”的变读基本一样。

In Chinese Madarine, the actual pronunciation of many syllables, influenced by their adjacent ones, will change. The one that has the most frequent changes is the ending exclamative ＂啊 （Ah） ＂,which assumes about six or seven variants in pronunciation. This kind of phonetics change extensively exists in the dialects in different parts of our country. A case in point is the Tujia Nickname ＂娃（Wa）＂ in Badong, Hubei Province. Essentially, it is similar to the variant pronunciation of the common excla- mative in Chinese.
