结合拓普康电子全站仪和道路路线设计系统AHCAD的实际应用，找到了一种提高全站仪进行道路放线效率和质量的方法。该方法通过将放样数据直接导入全站仪，避免了数据的手工输入，大大提高了放线的效率和质量。

With the combination of the TOP（ON electronic total station and highway computer aided design system-AHCAD, this paper found a practical solution that could obviously improve the efficiency and quality of setting-out work. The key of the method is directly uploading the setting-out data to the total station instrument that could totally avoid the manual inputting mistakes and then guarantee the efficiency and quality of highway alignment＇ s setting-out.
