Some Anecdotes about Bejing-featured Novelists in the Early Years of the Republic

囿于资料的稀见,清末民初的京味小说鲜为学人关注。本文作者就自己收藏的京味小说,披露了民初京味小说家的轶事,诸如损公(蔡友梅)为代表的京味小说家及清末民初之际京师报界的鼻祖彭翼仲的一些社会活动等,均是难得一见的史料。

Owing to the lack of materials, scholars pay little attention to the Beijing-featured novels written in the early years of the Republic. The author has a collection of the Beijing-featured novels of the time and discloses some anecdotes about the novelists, such as the novelists represented by Sun Gong （whose real name is Cai Youmei） and some social activities of Peng Yizhong, the originator of the press in Beijing, which are rarely seen historical materials.
