原乡情结作为乡土社会的特定产物,呈现出对原乡的本能回归意愿,并积淀成一种集体无意识根植于乡土中国人的心灵深处。周作人作为深受传统文化熏陶的现代知识分子,双重文化的影响使原乡情结在他身上呈现出三个层次的心态:即寻觅家园的生命本能;理性与情感的纠结;精神还乡的孤独体验。

Complex of native land is the particular outcome of the country society, which is the embodiment of the will of returning home and has become a collective unconscious rooted in Chinese mind. Zhou Zuoren was a modern intellectual deeply edified by traditional culture. Owing to the influence of dual culture, Zhou＇s Complex of native land consisted of three layers of mindsets, namely the life instinct of looking for home, the tangle between nous and emotion and the solitude experience of spiritual returning to hometown.
