兰山书院设于甘肃省会兰州。本文介绍了该书院从1735—1906一百七十年的历史,包括屋宇、教官、藏书、学规、生员等情况。对吴镇、张美如、张澍、张国常等院长的贡献,予以肯定。

Lanshan Academy of Classical Learning was situated in Lanzhou, the capital city in Gansu Province. This paper gives an account of the history of the Academy from 1735 to 1906, including its buildings, teachers, students, its collection of books, and its rules and regulations for learning. The paper also gives a positive assessment of the contributions made by the deans, Wu Zhen, Zhang Meiru, Zhang Shu, and Zhang Guochang.
