For more than 50 yaers Ems has sold a wide range of staple fibers and filament yarns, mainly polyamide fibers, under the trade name Grilon. The company concentrated from an early date on the manufacture of specialty fibers that means fibers which are unique, they have unusual properties and fulfill more far-reaching and different functions than standard fibers.
