This article briefly describes the meanings and theoretical foundation of the Information Selecting, analyzes the significance of the Information Selecting, and based on it, discusses the necessity of the Information Selecting in library digital information resources construction. Moreover, the author puts forward a suit of information selecting evaluating indicator system, designs the procedure of the Information Selecting, and analyzes the probably negative influence factors on the Information Selecting.
