This paper explains the key elements of systematic management of apparatus, especially large apparatus, in blood centers in terms of purchase, use, maintenance,and archives management of apparatus. The routine management will ensure that the apparatus in blood centers is properly allocated and kept in good eonditon and will play an important part in getting the blood carefully tested and various operations normally done and keeping the blood in good quality.
