摘要
品特剧作中的母亲形象兼有母亲、妻子和妓女的身份特征,她们在父权社会处于边缘化地位,虽然试图在面对男性的冲突中利用语言针锋相对地抗争男权秩序,但仍然无法赢得自主性。本文聚焦品特塑造的母性形象,运用西方女性主义文学批评理论探讨母亲的边缘化身份,以洞悉品特剧作中的女性/母亲面临的生存险境。
The image of the mothers in Pinter's plays is an integration of the identity features of being a mother, a wife and a prostitute. Thus in a patriarchal society, these mothers are marginalized. Though they make endeavors to fight against the paternal order through verbal means in the face of conflicts with men, they can by no means gain independence. By observing the maternal image created by Pinter in his plays, the present paper applies the feminist theories in the west to scrutinize the marginalization of the mothers so as to reveal their hazards for survival.
