近15年来，在中菲两国政府和人民的共同努力下．中菲经贸合作取得长足进展．在中国-东盟关系中的地位也日益重要，2005年．两国贸易额达175．6亿美元．较上年增长32%，增速居中国与东盟国家之首．比1991年更是增长近45倍．成为推动中国-东盟贸易发展的主力军．菲是中国第18大贸易伙伴，中国则已成为菲第3大贸易伙伴，截至2005年4月．

15 years later, with the joint efforts of the two governments and peoples, the cooperation between China and the Philippines has scored remarkable achievemerits and enjoyed a more important position in China-ASEAN relations. In 2005, the China-Philippines trade volume reached US$ 17.56 billion with a growth rate of 32% which is the highest among China and ASEAN member states. And it has been increased by 45 limes than 1991, constituting the major driving force of the China-ASEAN trade relations.
