The sense of speech has important effects and functions in English teaching and learning . It is the key that controls the work of listening , speaking , reading and writing. The English teachers should exert themselves to play a leading role and let the students take a principal part . In English teaching the teachers should train their students for the speech feeling designedly and gradually so as to heighten the students＇ general abilities continuously for using English.
