文化:语言学习的“诗外功夫”

Chinese Culture: An Indispensable Component in TCFL

语言既是文化的表现形式,又是文化的重要组成部分;文化则是语言表现的基本内容。语言与文化相依共存的关系要求第二语言学习与第二文化学习同步进行,语言学习不能独立于文化学习之外。因此,中国文化,尤其是交际文化,是对外汉语教学中一个不容忽视的部分,特别是民族文化气息浓厚的文化意象和文化词语,更应引起足够的重视。

Language cannot be used without carrying meaning and referring beyond itself. It disregards; the nature of language to treat language independently of the culture which it constantly refers to. Thus, Chinese culture is an indispensable component in teaching Chinese as a second language（TCFL）.
