Writing skills are both a criterion for judging the student＇s proficiency in the English language and a step stone for their academic performance and future career. But the writing teaching of college English is always less than satisfactory for a variety of reasons. This article, theoretically and practically, discusses the efficient pedagogy for English writing so as to improve the student＇s writing skills and promote the teaching of English writing.
